My Bicycle (Pulley & Gears)
The levers on which the pedals are attached turn the gears in a basic chain and pulley system. The rotation of the gears rotates the bicycle wheel initiating motion.

Golf cart (Wheels + screws + gears)
This golf cart uses a tack and pinion gear for steering and has wheels that are attached with screws.

Pencil Sharpener, Gears, Wheel and Axle, Wedge
This is a pencil sharpener. The battery turns a set of gears. One of the gears has a rod attached to it, making it a wheel and axle. The rod turns the sharpener, whose blade acts as the wedge.

The watch here is a kinetics watch which runs on motion, not a battery. The gyroscope within the watch winds up a spring which rotates all the gears to move the hands of the watch to tell time.
