Here is the side view of the catapult. Visible is the mechanism that controls the angle that the catapult releases at. This consists of a metal bar which can be placed in several holes which control the height and the angle that the lever arm hits the stopper bar at. The multiple hooks allow for several bungee cords to be attached. These two features allow both the launch angle and the launch strength to be controlled.
