Concrete Drill Bit

This is a drill bit use as a cutting tools to create cylindrical holes in concrete.  This tool is held in by a drill which rotates the bit to produce torque and axial force to create the hole. The shank is the part of the drill bit grasped by the chuck of a drill.

Machined Braces

This is a part of a series of machined parts used in a mechanical engineering research project. Several dozen of these have to be made as the project requires uniformity. These pieces were made in a CNC machine.

Shuriken


This is my friend's homemade shuriken, which he made during camp in a machine shop. Machines were used to sharpen the edges, as well as to shape the blade itself. This picture was taken on October 4th, 2013.
