Torsion Catapult: Isometric View
Team name: Longshots
This picture is showing an isometric view of our torsion catapult. In the picture, however, some features have been removed in order to be worked on. We have removed the lever arm to make it extendable and the rope because without the lever arm nothing holds it tightly in place. As with all torsion catapults, our lever is rotated (thus launching the projectile) by the transfer of energy from the twisted rope (potential energy) to the lever arm (angular kinetic energy).
