This pulley is attached on one end to a knob at the end of the pole and at the other end, it is attached to a white, canvas sign. The pulley serves to hold one side of the sign up. The pulley was located outside of the Robert Lee Moore Hall at the beginning of the bridge which leads across Dean Keeton Street (in Austin, TX).
